myClipr is a bookmark manager with the second halves built in. AI-summarised saves, long-form notes, Kanban projects, and a side panel that goes everywhere you browse. Light, honest, fast.
How it works
Save
Toolbar, sidepanel, right-click, share sheet. AI fills the title, summary, tags, and the best board the moment you save — no form-filling unless you want it.
Organize
Boards for topical libraries. Projects with Kanban for outcomes. Notes for long-form thinking. Drag between any of them — categories, tags, and projects stay in lockstep.
Find
Full-text search across titles, AI summaries, archived bodies, and notes. Browser, web, iOS, Android — all in real-time sync, no manual refresh.
Features
Hold the shape
of your reading.
Themed boards with custom icons. Outcome-driven projects with per-column kanban. Drag to reorder on web, iOS, and Android.
Search inside
every page.
Full-text fuzzy search across titles, descriptions, tags, and the archived body of every saved page. Try "/" too.
Tree-deep,
fuzzy-merged.
Hierarchical with rollup. Drag-reparent. Levenshtein-fuzzy duplicate finder catches near-misses.
Grid. List.
Sortable table.
Pick per board. Toggle which fields show on cards from a settings panel.
Inbox &
reminders.
New saves land unread. Set a reminder; we send one daily digest, not a barrage of notifications.
Five colors.
Inline notes.
PDFs &
images too.
Drop files up to 25 MB. URL-pattern rules auto-route saves to boards and tags.
Mistakes
are recoverable.
Soft-delete with auto-purge after 30 days. Mass-wipe guard blocks any operation that would delete >50% of a board.
Markdown
third pillar.
Long-form markdown notes alongside boards and projects. Categories with nesting, image + file attachments, drag-drop. Right-click anywhere → “Save selection as note”: quotes you keep instead of lose.
Condense
a sprawled library.
One click sweeps semantic dupes Levenshtein misses: synonyms, abbreviations, sub-specializations. Suggest-then-apply. Uses your own AI key.
See what
you’re spending.
Per-feature cost + token totals, refreshed in real time. Token counts pulled from the same response your provider bills on, no admin keys required.
A second
screen, built-in.
Open myClipr in your browser's side panel and read your boards, projects, and notes alongside the page you're on. Full markdown editor in the sidepanel: save, capture, edit without ever switching tabs.
Save here.
Find anywhere.
Browser, web, iOS, Android: every save shows up on every surface in real time. Native share-sheet on iOS + Android means anything you read on your phone is one tap from your library.
Light. Dark.
Or follow your OS.
Three-way theme picker across the web app, the browser extension, and the mobile clients. System mode tracks your OS preference live: no flash of the wrong palette when the day rolls into night.
Pages disappear.
Yours don't have to.
Every URL is fetched and stored at save time. We push a copy to the Wayback Machine. Reader view strips the ads. You highlight and annotate. Export the whole library to JSON or HTML any day you want. Your archive outlives the original, and stays portable.
How we archiveThe web should weigh
less, not more.
myClipr is built to four commitments: light, open, inclusive, honest. Read each one below, and hold us to them. Every quarter we publish receipts.
Light.
Static where possible. No tracker bloat. SVG icons inline. Fonts subset to the glyphs we use. Today the landing transfers 414 kB compressed per visit. We publish that number honestly while we trim toward 47 kB. Every byte justified; every byte measured.
Open.
No fake urgency. Card required at signup, but the cancel button is one click — not buried in a sub-menu. Export your data in four formats whenever you want. No lock-in by design — only by being good enough to keep using. Your library, your choice.
Inclusive.
Every ink-on-* color pair passes AAA contrast. Keyboard-only flows, visible focus rings, and reduced-motion preference are wired across every surface. An automated axe-core audit runs against each release; an external screen-reader audit is on the roadmap.
Honest.
Hosted on our own infrastructure in a European datacenter — your data stays in the EU. Renewable-energy status is being re-verified with the Green Web Foundation; until it returns this pillar reads "pending" rather than "100% renewable." We don't train models on your library. Ever.
AI that
you control.
Two-sentence summaries on save. Tag suggestions that reuse your existing tags first. Category routing. Tag cleanup that condenses a sprawling library. You bring the key (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google), and you see exactly what was sent and what it cost: every call, every token, in your settings.
One plan.
Fair price.

- No. The 7-day trial requires a card up-front — we use Stripe's native trial mechanism so the subscription continues seamlessly if you stay. Cancel any time from your account settings (the button does what it says) to avoid being charged. If you don't continue, you can export every bookmark in four formats — JSON, HTML (Netscape bookmark file), CSV, and Markdown.
- Nothing. Every URL is fetched and archived on save to our backend, and a copy is also pushed to web.archive.org as a best-effort backup. Open the archived copy or the reader view from inside myClipr — your data isn't tied to the original page being alive.
- Today the landing transfers 414 kB compressed and emits roughly 0.122g CO₂ per visit (assumes green-hosted; verification pending), using the Sustainable Web Design v4 model. That's heavier than our 47 kB design target — the gap is the shared shell + preloaded fonts the marketing surface inherits from the rest of the app. We publish the gap rather than rounding it down; trim work is on the roadmap. The full receipts dashboard lives at /sustainability.
- Every ink-on-* color pair in the design system passes WCAG 2.2 AAA contrast. Every action is keyboard-reachable; focus rings are visible everywhere; reduced-motion preference is honored. A full conformance audit (axe-core + manual NVDA + VoiceOver pass) is on the roadmap — until that lands we say "contrast verified" rather than "conformance audited." Full accessibility statement at /accessibility.
- Browser extension on Chrome, Firefox, and Edge. Web app at myclipr.app. Native iOS app with a share-sheet extension that registers itself on sign-in. Android app with the same. Every save propagates across all surfaces in real time — no manual refresh.
- Boards are topical libraries — think "Design inspiration" or "Recipes I want to try." Projects are outcome-driven with a Kanban view (drag cards across columns) — think "Q3 hiring round" or "Apartment move." Notes are long-form markdown, the third pillar — capture quotes from any page, write your own threads, attach images and files. Drag between any of them; categories, tags, and projects stay in lockstep.
- Bring your own OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google key. Tokens are billed by them, never by us. If you set keys for more than one provider, myClipr tries them in order so a single provider outage doesn't block enrichment. Or toggle AI off entirely — the app is fully functional without it.
- Connections to and from our backend are TLS 1.2+ only — no plain-HTTP endpoints. At-rest data sits on disk-level encrypted storage at the database layer. Authentication uses signed session tokens with short-lived refresh. We do not run client-side end-to-end encryption today — meaning operators with backend access could in principle read bookmark contents — and we never train models on your library. Full disclosure of what we can / can't see is on /security.
- Hosted on our own infrastructure in a European datacenter — your data stays in the EU. The provider's renewable-energy status is being re-verified against Green Web Foundation's directory; until that returns we say "pending" rather than "100% renewable." Once verified we'll publish the verified date on the receipts page. A quarterly sustainability report is planned; external audit of the metrics is on the roadmap.
